Head of Oceans

I’m a dad with three young kids; someone who’s passionate about making sure the parts of nature I love – our coasts and oceans – are protected and healthy for them to enjoy when they grow up.

I’m lucky enough to lead WWF-Australia’s work to protect our marine environment.  Our team works in the Coral Triangle north of Australia, east to the Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea, west to the Kimberley and all the way south to Antarctica.

I travelled and worked in many places around the world before I started work with WWF. Those experiences made me realise how special Australia’s coasts and oceans are, and how important it is to keep fighting for their protection.

I'm super excited about the opportunities WWF will have in coming years to better connect with our supporters. Big conservation wins happen when people who care get active and involved, and our oceans certainly need some big outcomes.
